Whoever has heard Schnaftl Ufftschick live in concert knows that the tonal result is not only solid and convincing, but fantastic. Cleverly chosen themes are only convincingly presented, varied and charged with a new sense, as well as alternating with lyrical moments and thrilling solos. The music is partly fun, partly program as the ensemble dedicates itself to the different styles of a present-day multi-cultural Babylon with the same commitment. The declared goal of the group is an art form with roots that don't lie, but are also influenced by jazz and classical music.
In America, one calls this entertaining cross-breed of styles "old tunes & new sounds". But experts of this kind of music can not only be found in the USA, but also here. Highly Recommended!
